Retrosketches #19 Challenge

Hola again!


I am here with my card for the Retrosketches #19 Challenge. 

  I really enjoyed making this card since it is different from what I am used to make.  It made me overcome my fears about things that are different and its final result.  So, no more fear for me

Merry Monday July Challenge

Yesterday I made a card for the Merry Monday July Challenge. 

I have to admit that every year I say: "this year I am gonna make Christmas cards" and at the end of it, I make zero cards.
So, these challenges definitely are the best way to start making your Christmas cards.  And most important, to use the "Christmas" supplies you 
have :)


This is the sketch I used for this challenge and here it is my card.  

When I saw this sketch I knew I had to use this set of stamps.

I wanted to give the idea of the ornaments hanging from the card.

I am sorry I have been out of the blog for such a long time.  There are moments in life when we don´t expect certain things to happen, specially the difficult ones.


Anyway, God is good and He has not letting us down any moment in these times. He has provided what we have needed day by day.


Here is a card I made with a stamp my sweet cousin Veronica gave to me.  I made this card using a past Retrosketches sketch, that I so badly wanted to make.

It is very simple, but I think it is so cute :)

Difficult times

Hello!!

I am sorry I have not been able to post any card lately.

I was really enjoying participating in challenges and learning new things.

Some while ago we´ve been having a hard time as a family, so I have not had the time or mood to make other things.

But, definitely next week I will be making a card.  I really love it and it is good for me, it keeps my mind busy on nice things!!!

Hope you are all doing great.
We went on a short vacation to the beach, but I came back home feeling more tired.  It is like you rest from some things, but at the same time you still have other things to do.  
Besides that, it was a great family time and the kids were incredible happy :)


Anyhow...I made a "Happy Birthday" Card for the Retrosketches Challenge #8.  

This sketch is so nice. You definitely get your imagination to fly.  

Well, I am not a super talented card maker, I am just starting to learn and figure things out, but I am really enjoying it.

When I saw this three balloon stamp, I thought this is it haha and started doing it.

Vacations

Hello!!

Last week we went on a trip to the beach.   

My daughter had a two week break from school and since we had two years without going to the beach we decided to make this little trip.

Kids were absolutely happy.  They ran, jumped, played with the sand, they even collected small crabs haha 

So, for this week I won’t be able to post a card, but I hope you enjoy these pics from our trip.

This beach name is Esterillos, in Costa Rica.  It is a beach where a lot of people from different parts of the world come to surf.  It is awesome!

Finally this is my mermaid…hehe….she just loved being in the water….
